Automotive, metals & heavy industry

Heavy-duty roller chains, planetary gearboxes and forging-grade PPE for automotive, steel and forging operators.

Automotive, forging and metals plants put extreme thermal, abrasive and impact loads on every component on the line — from the conveyor to the operator.

We support tier-one automotive suppliers, foundries and steel processors with high-load drives, heat-rated PPE and rapid replenishment that keeps takt times honest.

— FAQs

Questions we get asked.

What contact-heat glove rating do I need for forging?

EN 407 contact heat levels 3 and 4 (250°C / 350°C) are typical for forging and casting handling. We'll match glove construction, dexterity and cut level to the job and trial samples on shift.

Can you supply welding-rated FR coveralls?

Yes — we stock EN ISO 11611 (welding) and 11612 (heat & flame) certified coveralls in a range of weights and brand standards for tier-one automotive customers.

Do you carry heavy-series roller chain off the shelf?

We stock common BS and ANSI heavy series sizes, with cut-to-length, joining links and connectors available the same day from our Blackburn warehouse.

Can you standardise PPE across multiple sites?

Yes. We build a catalogue tailored to your spec, manage rollouts shift by shift and report on usage and spend by site through our account portal.
